Inspired by Roxanne Cobel’s Creatures class where more is more – a woman after my own heart! This is my first time doing some creatures from my imagination. For those interested in how this page came together here is a step by step:

- Collage added to page in my altered book

- Black paint and a family member added

- Grey and green paint and marks
-
- Magenta paint, splatters and marks
-
- A pop of cool yellow with some drips and splatters
-
- Recreate and spread the central pattern and tone down the bottom band
-
- Turn the existing figures into creatures – dramatic
-
- The finsihing touches – lots and lots of tiny marks and all creatures need gizzards – this takes as long and the other bit. Almost done!
