I’m a self taught artist who has a 30 second boredom threshold so I like making art of many kinds. At the moment I am into art journalling and mixed media but I am also a printmaker, love drawing (especially outdoors) and have dabbled in fabric dyeing, painting, mosaics, and paper making. Anything could be next!
I am very chuffed that in 2015 and 2013 one of my prints was added to the Australian National Gallery collection as part of the Animalia print exchange and a past accolade was winning the Highly Commended Award in 2009 at the Print Art Exhibition in Perth with my triptych print “Long way from home”. Recently I have been active in some ATC and print exchanges – its lovely to get all those inspiring artworks in the post!
I live near the beach in Perth, Western Australia and when I’m not making art I sing in a large barbershop chorus, love training my dog, being outdoors, gardening and travelling.
